Release Notes

Yes it's another release of my CodeProject app and it just keeps getting better and better! Now has the CP logo! and you can view the latest tip tricks form the home tab. Settings have been improved along with a few bug fixes - see below for more details.

Bug Fixes:
- Article load bug which failed to load entire article if the article Id could not be properly detected.
- ID detection to use the Mobile link's URL to make it more reliable.
- Article load bug - if logged in and you tried to open the menu while an article was in-between loading stages the whole app would crash.
- Fixed screen rotation bug.
- A few extra bits of exception handling here and there.

- The initial tab is set to the Home Tab if the app has never been run before.
- Latest articles & tip/tricks are requested before your account information as it is deemed more useful/immediately required.
- Improved the way settings work - now options for Save and Cancel in the menu. (Back button is disabled.)

New Features:
- View Latest Articles or Latest Tip/Tricks using the home tab's new nested tab host. With this comes the new hometabtabhost layout xml file which is dynamically loaded into the Home tab

on creation of the main activity.
- Application icon - now uses the Home Tab icon as the application icon.

This version sees a fair bit of restructuring of the code to make it far "better" code with less (or practically no reliance on static references to things such as the main activity -

things that really shouldn't be referenced statically. I have also removed the SingleInstance setting from the AndroidManifest to make the startActivityForResult method work (used with

CPPrefsActivity). This version also now contains new packages and the code has been "neatened up" a bit with extra proper methods rather than the somewhat spaghetti mess that it was.

Hopefully the next version will start to contain some documentation!
